Conference venue

The conference will be held at the Mile End Campus of the Queen Mary University of London

 

More specifically:

the workshops on September 12 will be in the Graduate Center 

the main conference on September 13-15 will be in the Arts Two building

The best way to access Mile End Campus is by tube, by travelling to Mile End tube station (Central, District and Hammersmith and City lines). On exiting Mile End station, turn immediately left. Walk straight along the road (Mile End Road). You will cross a junction and go under a big yellow bridge.

 

Once you arrive at QMUL (on the right-hand side of the road), enter the campus through the main gateway. You must come into the campus to get to the Arts Two building which will be on your left.

 

For the Graduate Center (red, in the map above) just keep walking for a couple of minutes.

 

You can reach Mile End Campus also by bus (25, 205, N205): there is a bus stop in front of the main entrance.

 

Note that you cannot enter the Arts Two Building directly from Mile End Road; the entrance is from inside the Campus, therefore you first need to enter the Campus (from either 38, 20, or Bancroft Road, see map below).
